福井縣大雨
福井縣自八月二十九日晚間起間歇性大雨，日本氣象廳於八月三十日上午四時三十分向福井市、大野市及勝山市發出「第五級大雨特別警報」。福井縣表示，截至九月一日上午九時，共獲報有一六五棟住宅及三十一棟非住宅建築物浸水。根據媒體報導，福井機場跑道及停機坪等亦有淹水，同時坂井市發生道路淹水。日本放送協會發佈了其無人機於八月三十日拍攝之影像，顯示坂井市丸岡町有泥色淹水。
Heavy rain in Fukui Prefecture
Heavy rain fell intermittently across Fukui Prefecture from the night of 29 August, and at 4:30 a.m. on 30 August, the Japan Meteorological Agency issued a “Level 5 Emergency Warning for Heavy Rain” for the cities of Fukui, Ōno and Katsuyama. According to Fukui Prefecture, as of 9:00 a.m. on 1 September, flooding had been reported at 165 residential buildings and 31 non-residential buildings. According to media reports, parts of the Fukui Airport, including the runway and the apron, were also flooded, while road flooding occurred in Sakai. NHK released footage taken by its drone on 30 August, showing mud-coloured flooding in Maruoka, Sakai.
