今日上午約十時三十分，尼泊爾與中國邊境尼泊爾一側，拉蘇瓦縣突發洪水，並造成山泥傾瀉。洪水損壞邊境口岸（尼泊爾一側稱「熱索瓦口岸」，中國一側稱「吉隆口岸」），並造成人員傷亡。尼泊爾拉蘇瓦縣的 Syapru Besi 和 Timure ，及中國西藏日喀則市吉隆縣受到影響。尼泊爾當局表示，洪水已造成至少九人死亡。拉蘇瓦縣行政官 Narendra Pariyar 表示，部份村莊和基礎設施工地遭洪水沖走，而災害造成之完整人員及財產損失有待確認。根據新華社報導，是次災害於西藏日喀則市吉隆縣造成「重大傷亡」。
At around 10.30 a.m. today, flash flooding occurred in Rasuwa District on the Nepali side of the Nepal–China border, causing landslides. The flooding damaged the border crossing (known as the Rasuwagadhi border crossing on the Nepali side and the Gyirong border crossing on the Chinese side) and caused casualties. Syapru Besi and Timure in Nepal’s Rasuwa District, and China's Gyirong County, Shigatse, Tibet, China were affected. Nepali authorities said the flooding had killed at least nine people. Rasuwa District administrator Narendra Pariyar said that some villages and infrastructure construction sites had been washed away by the flooding, while the full extent of casualties and property damage caused by the disaster remained to be confirmed. According to Xinhua News Agency, the disaster caused “major casualties” in Gyirong County, Shigatse, Tibet.
