臺灣總統賴清德表示，二零二七年度將提出達新臺幣一兆一二二五億（1.1225 × 10¹²）圓國防預算，並表示國防開支將佔本地生產總值（GDP）逾百分之三（3%）。預算若通過，將是現有可連續比較之政府國防支出資料中，年度國防支出首次超過新臺幣一兆（1 × 10¹²）圓。

President Lai Ching-te of Taiwan said a defence budget of NT$1.1225 trillion (1.1225 × 10¹²) would be proposed for 2027, and said defence spending would exceed 3% of gross domestic product (GDP). If approved, annual defence spending would exceed NT$1 trillion (1 × 10¹²) for the first time in the existing continuously comparable government defence expenditure data.

台湾の頼清徳総統は、2027年度に1兆1225億（1.1225 × 10¹²）台湾元の国防予算を提出すると表明し、国防支出は国内総生産（GDP）の3%を超えると述べた。予算が成立すれば、現存する連続比較可能な政府の国防支出データにおいて、年間国防支出が1兆（1 × 10¹²）台湾元を超えるのは初めてとなる。
