列支敦士登攝政王阿洛伊斯在國慶日宣佈，列支敦士登將修改親王爵位繼承規則，取消男性優先繼承，改爲絕對長嗣繼承制。新規定僅適用於王儲阿洛伊斯與王儲妃蘇菲（Sophie）未來後代。
Liechtenstein princely house announces change to succession rules, ending male-preference succession
Liechtenstein Regent Alois announced on National Day that Liechtenstein will amend the succession rules for the princely title, ending male-preference succession and introducing absolute primogeniture. The new rules will only apply to the future descendants of Hereditary Prince Alois and Hereditary Princess Sophie.
