Heavy rain affected areas mainly across the Kanto-Koshin region, with the Japan Meteorological Agency issuing the highest-level, Level 5 emergency warning for heavy rain in multiple areas of Chiba Prefecture. Narita International Airport Corporation said that, as of 8:30 p.m., all bus and rail services from Narita Airport to central Tokyo had been suspended.
