兩名中國大陸籍人士乘橡皮艇偷渡臺灣
臺灣海巡署表示，有兩名中國大陸籍人士七月二十三日乘橡皮艇非法登岸新北市八里區海灘，七日後於桃園被捕。法院已裁定羈押禁見，案件交由檢方偵辦。海巡署第八岸巡隊十一日稱該案存在「人爲疏失」，卽雷達操作人員誤判目標爲海浪干擾，未遵守完整作業規定，刪除光點軌跡，而未通報執勤官。
Two people from mainland China illegally entered Taiwan by rubber dinghy
Taiwan’s Coast Guard Administration said that two people from mainland China landed on a beach illegally in Bali District, New Taipei City, by rubber dinghy on 23 July and were arrested in Taoyuan seven days later. A court has ordered them detained with restrictions on visits and correspondence, and the case has been referred to prosecutors for investigation. The Coast Guard Administration’s 8th Shore Patrol Team said on 11 August that the case involved ‘human error’: the radar operator mistook the target for interference caused by sea waves, did not follow the full operating procedures, deleted the target’s track and did not report it to the duty officer.
