太平洋島國論壇宣佈，將邀請臺灣出席本月於帛琉擧行之太平洋島國領導人年度會議。
太平洋島國論壇組織祕書長、來自瑙埃羅之巴隆・瓦卡於新聞發佈會宣佈將邀請臺灣出席本月三十日起於帛琉擧行之太平洋島國領導人年度會議。由於中國抗議，臺灣未能參加去年由所羅門羣島主辦之太平洋島國領導人年度會議。
Pacific Islands Forum announces it will invite Taiwan to attend annual Pacific island leaders’ meeting in Palau this month
Pacific Islands Forum Secretary General Baron Waqa of Naoero announced at a press conference that Taiwan would be invited to attend the annual Pacific island leaders’ meeting to be held in Palau from the 30th of this month. Owing to protests from China, Taiwan was unable to attend last year’s annual Pacific island leaders’ meeting hosted by Solomon Islands.
