A 14-year-old boy in Nonthaburi Province shot dead his grandparents at home before shooting dead two teachers and three school staff members at school and injuring 23 people, then shooting himself. In their preliminary investigation, police believe the 9mm handgun used by the shotter belonged to his grandfather.
